The numbers of people using or believing something doesn't mean it isn't inferior. It is a tool that they have grown accustomed to.
For me, Google is a good, basic search engine when I need to boost traffic passing by the link to my website, but if I want to have a decent ROI, I have to reach my target market.
I have found that easier to do with alternative search engines and blogs.
