Ref "grey areas" - in general in business, as an investor, I will not invest in anything that is GREY - but that does not mean that others would not invest or back a "grey idea" - so please feel free to submit your idea - but for something like this, I would prefer to get your submission by email.
By the way, the issue I have with GREY is that you can invest time and effort to get something going and maybe even have some success, but then find it is taken away from you because there are legal issues.
Personally, I would take legal advice if I felt there could be any doubts to the legitimacy of an idea.

You may enter more than once - with more than one idea - however, I'm a great believer in ONE IDEA well executed is better than several ideas not so well executed.
