How would I start off a blog in online blogging niche now?

Hi. I want to start a blog about blogging online and making money from it. But the niche is so saturated now that you can't really just make a blog anymore and expect people to come.

How would I enter this niche and not fail from the start? I figure that I would have to work pretty damn hard to start getting traffic near the beginning. Any suggestions on how to get an audience base to work with from the start?

The blogging niche is indeed very saturated and unless you have came up with some unique proposition for the niche, it is not advisable for you to enter the niche.

Marketing for blogs is almost the same for every niche but you need to know where are your target market is hanging around the Internet. These places can be forums like this one, authoritative blogs, social media sites like Facebook and Twitter and of course, the search engines.

In all honesty, making money online is just like anywhere else. You need to work up the ranks.

I've been running a finance blog for a while. As you can guess, the finance niche is VERY competitive. Thing is, if I constantly stick with it, update my site regularly, and so on, I will eventually succeed. The majority of bloggers get weeded out in the early stages, simply because they quit.

Don't quit, and you will see money.

Look is doesnt matter how many people blog about making money online. If you have great content and know what your talking about the traffic will come. There a plenty of website that are alike in many ways but they all still seem to succeed. So my advice to you is write great and know what you are talking about and if your articles can help someone over come a problem then you will get traffic. The design/look of the site means alot as well so make sure your site is looking great a post often so you can keep your readers coming.
