please help with a strange tables issue?

at least i THINK it's a tables issue....

i have been wildly modifying a template that i downloaded in connection with shopping cart software, but there is a color that keeps showing up and i can't get rid of it.

its address as uploaded on my site is:

i created a column to the right of the left side navigation menu, and it came out that pale yellow color. also, before i ever did that----- whenever the body in the middle would get too tall, what was exposed underneath my bottommost image of the left navigation menu was that pale yellow color again. but i can't find out why. i sampled it and couldnt find that hexadecimal anywhere...

help?
