hey everyone.

i live in Pakistan and Paypal does not offer its services int his region.... does anyone of you have recomendation for any alternatives that work globally.... i tried alertpay.com and stormpay.com..... but are these entirely dependable?? if you have used these.. please comment on theri services..

SO try 2checkout.com it middles east to often use this for ecommerce site but before you register and pay read first the disclaimer..

There is one payment processor which many are using these days. It's Xoom.com. I think they can be an alternative to Paypal. They have a good user base in South/South-East Asia region.

I have a friend who uses StormPay quite a bit. I hear that WorldPay truly is just about global these days, so you may want to look very closely into that one as well.

Why is it that Paypal isn't completely international anyhow? Is it too much of a hassle to do all the currency conversions?

I think it is because of some international rules and policies of different goveronments too, paypal is available in india, the neibour of pakistan so why not in pakistan. I think its because of their govt. policies

Is Paypal considered a financial institution, or more of an escrow company? I would imagine the regulations would be different depending on the answer.
