The key to success is to never give up and learn from your mistakes.

Well that's what i think.

Good point, you will never succeed if you just give up, that's just obvious!

I could of given up a lot of times when it got tough but I stuck to it and now look at me.

I think the above points are all important. BUT, the most important point is having a interesting or original idea. Something unique that people will truly benefit from or enjoy. The idea for Youtube was so simple, yet soooo effective. So again, I think the key to success is the Idea.

I would have to say drive. Definition is to propel or carry along by force in a specified direction. A true success is driven.

I guess with out a idea you have nothing.

I think Passion also plays a huge part! A passion for your idea and business.

Very interesting thread you got rolling here Michael! I totally agree that passion plays a big part, because without it, we would surely succumb to the smallest hint of failure.

In response to guybrush, a good idea is worthless without the motivation and the will power to push it through. So a combination of these is crucial.

Patience is also vital to reach success, because as we all know, great things require sacrifice.
