Why vote for me?

Well, for one, I try to help out as much as I can (ask anyone I've made designs for). I go the extra mile to make sure the client, friend, whoever, is happy with what I make. Like recently, I was contacted by three girls, all working on a book series called Lunar Blue, and they wanted to get published. They had no cover for the book (or spine or back cover) and they were looking for someone to make it. Well, here's the finished product (click for larger version):

They wanted it in 3D and since they had no money no one would do it. I spent 3-4 months working on it for free to help them get on to publishing it ;) PM me for their MSN if you want to talk to them about it. I had never even tried a 3D modeling program before that so I learned everything right then and there just for that cover.

Another reason to vote for me is because I really need the money (as do others), but not for video games or new clothes, but for college. I want to go here: Full Sail , and ever since I took the tour of that school, it's been my dream to go there after High School. Only problem is the money (costs a whopping $58,275 for the Digital Arts & Design program) and I have only a couple hundred dollars saved up.

Why else should you vote for me? I have a passion for digital art, and I plan on turning it into a life-long career. No matter what, I never want do a job that I will hate doing every day. Instead I want to wake up in the morning excited to go to work. I'm determined to do whatever it takes to be successful (within limits... I'm not gonna kill anyone or break a law to do it, lol).

I'm one of the older young guns here (at 16 years old), but I still have plenty of time to develop my skills. I just started getting into website design not to long ago, and I love it. I'm still not very good, but that won't stop me. A little quote I like to keep by me: "Do not give up, the beginning is always the hardest" (I actually found that in a fortune cookie a couple days after I started my first website).
