Book Keeper

How big does your business have to be before hiring a book keeper to help you out. I'm having a hard time organizing everything and need some help but I'm not sure that I'm earning enough yet to hire someone.

Have you tried any of the computer software yet? There are great programs like Quickbooks that will help you organize and keep track of everything.

Business hasn't become that indepth for me to need a program yet. just basic record keeping is good for the small guy.

I would agree, Quickbooks is great. I have an older version of it and find it just as easy to plunk the info there as anywhere else. You can pick up older versions on Ebay and other places relatively cheap. I treally does make it easier to take snapshots of your status and it is very helpful come tax time.

That would be my recommendation. Quickbooks or something similar. Is the best thing to have come tax time.
You can also create your own with an excel spreadsheet (or the free openoffice version of excel)

Yep, anyone who is familiar with accounting standards can easily create your own workbooks using Excel or another spreadsheet program.
