Did 2007 start out good for you? I know that I am doing way better than I have in many years, and hope it continues.

I would have to say yes. My year ended up pretty crappy but this year is looking up.

2007 started out with me deciding it was time for a change. From a mental point of view, this has been a great start to the new year. We'll see how the financial rewards stck up as the year progresses.

I think that almost everyone that I talk to is doing much better than they have been, which is a good sign for the economy.

So far, so good. I think that's a good point, that you should do a little better each year otherwise you aren't doing it right.

My money seems to be disappearing fast, and I don't where it keeps going. So far, not a good start to the year lol. I need to start getting more income.

Sounds like it's time for a written budget, don't you think? If you write it all down, you'll know exactly where your money goes.
