If you are running Windows, you proably already have an invoice template on your hard drive that you can use. if not, then do a quick search on line for something like "free invoice template" and you should come up with some formats you can download and use to create the invoice. Congrats on the project!

How would i invoice at a hourly rate?

You would fix a per hour price for the effort associated with this particular project, then multiply it by the number of hours you put into the project. On the invoice, you would list the functions performed, cite the hourly rate, then the number of hours of service performed, then the total amount due.
I'm assuming that you provided some sort of estimate or quote to your client before the two of you agreed on the job. If you are not sure how to arrive at the hourly rate, a good place to start is by taking your quote and dividing into the number of hours you spent on the project. |
