Hi friends,
Just want to know, How many of you have actually put together a business plan before starting your business? According to me A proper business plan is very important to start your business. You need to do all your research and plan every step. Or is it just waste of time? what do you guys think? --brookes |

Well I've personally not done it with BlueIrn, but now that I think about it I probably should have; it's been a very unorganised and random sequence of creation without any primary reason.
So yes, I believe they are important, and should be done with every project you start. |

Well I never used to. But for Lonely Designs I have a very big folder full of plannings and ideas and brainstorms etc.
I think planning is a very important stage of everything.

I do all my planning on windows notepad. It's just easier to open it and refer to it when you need to rather than searching through sheets and sheets of papers and folders. Plus if you need to add something else you learn or remove something that doesn't work any more it's easy as pie to change.

Every step has to be planned and every possible glitch needs to be thought of and a resolution concluded as much as possible. That said, I have a feeling that if we had thought *too* much about it, we may have decided it's not worth the risk, but it's wise to have a solid plan so that there won't be many surprises. The more problem scenarios you work out before they happen, the less of a risk it becomes. |
