Hi all,

Most of us here are interested in making money online/internet. I am having a day job, and i pay tax on my salary. I do domaining and web development. Though i don't make much money out of my hobby, should i show it in my earnings?
what do you big guys do, those that make 1000s on internet.
Please suggest me how to proceed further?
Thanks and cheers
Brookes

Hi,
I have not seen anything about tax on domains before. However you probably know that each domain registration has a 0.20 cent fee to ICANN. That is the closest to tax that I have seen.

I would talk to a bookkeeper about all that. Technically it is income, regardless of where it came from or through the sale of so it has to be claimed.

I let my accountant handle all of that though.

Shane, Twocents is right...

I pay tax on everything I do online, I don't pay that much though because I spend most of the money earned on improving the websites.
