Default Advantages Of Paypal Over Credit Cards

Michael started a thread on Paypal, and the posters there have raised some interesting points.

I would like to go ahead and state my opinion that Paypal is actually superior to credit cards when it comes to online buying/selling.

1. Anybody can have a paypal account, regardless of credit.
2. You can purchase online using your own money instead of interest money.

Paypal is, in my opinion, a very responsible way to make purchases online. You will not get more debt, you will not generate more monthly payments for yourself.

I highly recommend it.

Using anything that doesn't involve paying interest is great. I use Paypal to move money online most of the time, but feel that i need to explore other options.

I hate having all of my eggs in one basket.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Great points florentin but not anyone can have a Paypal account, in a lot of countries you still can't sign up for Paypal.

I love the fact that to do a transaction it takes seconds but with a credit card your not sure about security and can take a while to make the order.

PayPal is the fastest way of movement and it takes more or less few minutes to transfer the money without filling the paper work. Further it can be used to credit any bank account without a fee.

yes, Michael, not everybody can have a paypal account, but also not everybody can have a credit card.

plus, with a credit card, you can only make purchases.
with a paypal account you can also ACCEPT payments.

isn't that far superior?

Well said Michael. I see a lot of people from foreign countries asking when PayPal will accept people from their country.
