Top 2:

Online Retail such as Play.com, Amazon.com, Zappos.com - Can cut the price's of a shop because they don't have to pay for sales assistants, rent, insurense, etc.

Search Engines - Yahoo, Google, Ask - They don't have to provide any physical goods but can monetize their websites by selling advertising.

That is exactly what I would have said too. Everyone knows who play.com and Amazon are, as well as Ebay.

Online retail shops are one of the best stuff of the internet. It revolutionized the online sales through low pricing index and global affordability. They are certainly the best way to make money and to get good deals.

to sell 'space' on your busy website...

it sure makes sense, but in its structure, it is such an easy, such a 'silly' way to make money.

this is a great country we are living in!

I believe Adult related websites and travel websites must be up there as well. I read somewhere that travel sites is the largest online industry.

Online retail opportunity.. Families just do not have the time to take out the whole family to go shopping. Sport related websites linked with online retail opp. Very good business....

Great point! Online shopping is very practical and with the added bonus that everything is so much cheaper!

You guys should check out these videos, they do suggest a couple great reasons why running a online shop beats any other business!

Internet marketing products :P..but only if you can be unique and provide something that is needed (and market extremely well)
