Default Short or Long Term?

Are you more interested/focused on short or long term projects?

As in, get in and get out. Fast money, but unstable... best example I can give is affiliate marketing. Still not a very good example.

I'm working on both at the moment. One project I doubt will last too long but will (hopefully) bring in a few thousand. The other is focusing more on the ability to, in the future, have a more stable income.

I like long term projects personally, though a bit of short term gain is always good.

I think the best thing about long term is seeing something develop from the unknown to a leader in its field (hopefully) or maybe just a good lesson.

I dont have enough patience, so short term things suit me well.

I mainly have a long term goals but I usually split it up into lots of small term goals so I can achieve more and keep more focused.

Short term is nice because you find out quickly if your on the right track. Long term are risky because a lot of time can be wasted until you find out it was all for nothing.

But my gut feeling is that long term projects have a higher chance of success. Not sure why I think so. Maybe because more time and effort is put into long term projects.

All of my projects, no matter how long they take to set up, are long term projects.
