The spam is getting out of hand. I know for a fact that the spam is keeping some people from registering (a couple friends of mine were turned off by it).

I've offered to help Micheal but he hasn't taken me up on it yet.... Something needs to be done soon though, because right now they are getting away with it....

EDIT- This is seriously getting bad. 4 or 5 of the newest topics in General Discussion in a ROW are spam.

I had 2 bots on my forums, for RC cars. In their profile for their RC cars they wrote their name which was Nadgokk.

Then it posted a frekish poem 2 seconds after it registered, they are so predictable

All the spam bots also put their name as their expertise. Maybe there could be a way to automatically delete the user for putting their name in the expertise?

dont allow validating members to post....and one of my friends said he didnt feel like validated but he tried voting and it worked..i dont think validating members should be able to do anything more than a guest

Ive deleted most of the spam threads, ill try to keep things clean but it would be plain sweet if some kind of validation was set up to prevent more of these fellas from posting around here.
