People are registering just to vote for people, so its easy to get your votes higher. What should have been done is a 10 post requirement to vote

Then there would be a lot of simple spam posts which state the obvious or tell nothing. It would get pretty annoying. I think whats been accomplished in this small amount of time is already a major feat... props to Micheal on all his work.

Well, if there were spam posts, we could suspend, ban IP's or lower post count

^^ but theres no point! a 10 post requirement seems a goos idea! but if people are going to spam then they will just get banned. so it'll turn out inaffected.

making it a login/register to vote system isn't going to work unless the system is policed, how do you know members aren't making accounts at friends house(s) or at their workplace to make it seem like other people are voting? Or using a Dynamic IP?

well, right now you can make unlimited accounts, with proxies, and free emails and all, but the 10 post thing is slowing the process

Whell Killer here, has a point...
There would simply be more spam.

And there's a solution to the IP banning *cought* Proxy *Cought*

I think there's nothing to do on this.
The register 2 vote, is an obstacle on it's own.
Most people don't want to register just to vote...
