Login/Remember

I always click "Remember Me" when logging in, but when I return to the forum later I have often been logged out? Assuming this isn't a problem on my end it's kinda annoying having to login all the time (unlike other forums), especially considering there isn't a login box set in the forum template (Instead on a separate page).

If it's a forum security thing it would be nice to be able to remain logged in, and also nice as previously mentioned to have a login box in the page header or something where it's quicker to access.
