Critique 2 Company Websites

Hi,
Can you please critique the design of these 2 company websites. I think the first is much too simple, where as the second has too much yellow, and a bad home page.

Also, any hints on SEO. These websites will be hardly ever updated, so optimizing it will be difficult. At the moment, when you type in 'Brisbane Blinds' in google, results comes on page 8. Would like it on page 1-2. If I put links in my signature, will this help?

First Website - Brisbane Blinds and Security Screens

The second website I would suggest you do something more like this - Create a Website Using Adobe Dreamweaver | Web Design Tutorials | Creating a Website | Learn Adobe Flash, Photoshop and Dreamweaver - Very good for SEO that design is.

Also I wouldn't put the website name in the page title because you will already rank number 1 for that.

The first design is real simple and could work, I would recommend a welcome paragraph for SEO reasons.

I really like the design of Flower Blinds.
Personally on the second website I do not like the colours, but that is just personal opinion.

SEO is not my strong point so I shall not give you any help with that.

The second website is to colorful. I love the concept because it promotes: "Asthma Foundation Endorsed Products" I am asthmatic therefore i can relate.
