I've heard good stories about blogs, websites, and forums getting highly increased traffic by way of YouTube advertising. Do any of you know how this works and different techniques you can use to take advantage of that kind of advertising?

I want to give it a shot but don't know how to get started.

Well I don't know how they do it for sure. I would think it might be done by showing something funny or interesting and then if you click on the link you will find their site. Have you ever downloaded something to youtube yet.

One of my friends had tremendous success with this. Essentially, he googled his targeted keywords and found that there were some YouTube videos registering as the first results. So he went and paid the video's poster to put a link to his website in the video description and began seeing some great traffic!
